Week 75: Got a call for Transfers... Elder Stein got sent where??

So this week was a great week! We got a lot done and Elder Stein and I were able to have a lot of fun doing so. It was great that we were able to do all the things we needed to do and more and meet with great people. Our investigator 정민화 (Minhwa jeong) is getting closer to being baptized every day and we just need him to understand a few more things and come closer unto Christ. It will definitely be good for sure! We got a call Saturday night, not expecting a transfer call
because trainees and trainers usually stay together for 2 transfers, and we got one saying that Elder Stein would be going to the middle of no where. (울진, beautiful place, the church has 2 members there)! So that was really unexpected, but we were really busy this week and had
a good time together. I got a new companion and his name is Elder 장경진!  So it will be a good time for sure!!

This week I have really been able to focus on the atonement of Jesus Christ. Through the atonement, I know that anyone can change. Everyone can change and everyone can come closer unto God! It is a great privilege that we have to partake of these thing.

This last week on Monday we went to the beach in the morning again. So instead of going to Gwangan beach, we went to Haeundai beach and hung out and ate food and went on a hike and took pictures and explored! It was great!! Then came back and shopped and emailed and then came home
and then went and got our hair cut! It was a great p-day. Then for the rest of the day, we went outside and talked to a bunch of people and that was our day!

On Tuesday, we went on exchanges with the other team in Geumjeong and I went with an Elder named Elder Hubble! Elder Hubble is awesome and comes from Texas and it was super fun to talk with him and learn from him and be able to connect. We were able to talk a bunch for sure and get to meet good people! So we went outside and talked with others and then we had to go to a meeting with other missionaries later in the night, where we switched up more companionship's and went to share the gospel with others in a really small area!

On Wednesday, we went outside in the morning and talked to others and then came home and studied for a bit and then we went to a meeting at the mission home for trainers and trainees. After which, we came back to Geumjeong and then took off to a member appointment. They live 1 hour and 30 minutes away from the church by bus, but it was well worth
going out and meeting with them!

On Thursday, we went outside and talked to as many people that we could and then came back inside and did deep cleaning. After deep cleaning, we went outside and talked to others and then went to the church and taught English class! Then after English class, we were able to meet with a few people and teach about the gospel.

On Friday, we went outside and talked to other people and it was a really good and productive day. I loved it so much and we were able to help many people come closer unto Christ! We also had a dinner appointment with another member and then we met some great people out where we were at, and then to end the day, we met with our investigators.

On Saturday, Elder Stein wasn't feeling well, so after we studied, I went outside with Elder Kim and talked to others and then got some things that we needed to do done. Then we went to English class and did english and then cleaned the church and Elder Kim and I got some office work done as our companions were outside and talking to people and then we ran home. Elder Hubble got a call and he was going
elsewhere and right after, we got a call. It was for Elder Stein and he got transferred after one transfer.. So it was a bunch of mixed emotions...

On Sunday, we went to church and taught a bunch of people and we had a good day taking pictures with others. It was super good being able to talk to members and help others come closer unto Christ. We also had dinner together and everything was great for sure!

I love it here in Geumjeong and we will figure out the details later!

Love Always,

Elder Joshua Wilson
